She acquired her Master\u2019s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of LaVerne \u2013 Athens Campus. Elli Manatou was trained in systemic therapy, in systemic couples\u2019 therapy and in the coordination of parent-groups (6 years of training). She participated in the Parent Counseling Program run by the Institute of Continuing Training for Adults (IDEKE) of the Ministry of Education (2004-2008).<\/p>\n<p>Elli Manatou has worked with individuals, couples, families and groups as a psychotherapist in private practice since 2001. She cooperates with nursery and elementary schools as a counseling psychologist.<\/p>\n<p>She works therapeutically with individuals and couples, who face fertility problems. She had been a research associate in a large scale research program examining the effect of psychosocial factors on infertility treatment.<\/p>\n<p>2011-2020 Elli Manatou belonged to the staff of the Counseling Center of Merimna in Thessaloniki (www.merimna.org.gr), a nonprofit organization, which supports children and their families who are experiencing grief due to serious illness or the death of a loved one.
