He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds Master degrees in Social and Clinical Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in Social Psychiatry from the Democritus University of Thrace.<br \/>\nHe is trained in systemic psychotherapy, in systemic psychotherapy of children and adolescents and in systemic couples\u2019 psychotherapy.<br \/>\nHe is an internationally certified alcohol and drug counselor since 2012 (International Certification &amp; Reciprocity Consortium, ICRC).<br \/>\nHe is trained as a Mindfulness Trainer at the Oxford Mindfulness Center (MBCT).<br \/>\nHe has fulfilled a two-years-training in \u201cTalking with psychosis \/ Accompanying in recovery\u201d at the Hellenic Observatory for Rights in the Field of Mental Health.<\/p>\n<p>From 2008 until 2024 he worked as a psychotherapist with addicts and their families at KETHEA (Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals) with different addictions (drugs, alcohol, gambling, internet etc.).<br \/>\nHe contributed as a supervisor to the creation of self-help groups in KETHEA and outside of it.<br \/>\nHe worked as a psychotherapist with cancer patients and their families and with individuals who had experienced a psychotic crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Antonis Raftopoulos was director of several therapeutic programs of KETHEA in North Greece (ITHAKI etc.), until he resigned in July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays he works as a psychotherapist with individuals, couples, families, and groups.<br \/>\nHe offers supervision and training in systemic psychotherapy to mental health professionals.<br \/>\nHe offers Mindfulness programs in different contexts.<\/p>\n<p>He has published several articles in scientific journals.<\/p>\n<p>Antonis Raftopoulos is a member of the Systemic Association of Northern Greece (SANG).
