LECTURE AND SEMINAR WITH DR HANS JELLOUSCHEK ON CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS

On 4th and 5th May 2012 a lecture and a seminar were given in Thessaloniki by Dr Hans Jellouschek, a well-known writer and trainer in couples’ therapy www.hans-jellouschek.de. It was a collaboration between the Institute of Systemic Therapy of Thessaloniki and the Goethe Institute. Many people attended and gave positive feedback.

In his speech Dr Hans Jellouschek referred to the most important factors contributing to a good partnership.

The seminar addressed to mental health professionals, concerned the following themes:

  • What are the issues that couples usually deal with?
  • How can we understand these difficulties in depth?
  • Which coping models have turned out to be most useful

For more information on the themes illustrated in the seminar, one can read Virginia Ioannidou’s book (written in Greek), The Art of Being a Couple. A Systemic Approach.
