CHRISTINA LAGOGIANNI

Psychologist – Psychotherapist

Completed her studies in psychology (Bsc) in Goldsmiths University of London, with a first class honours. She acquired her Master’s Degree (MA) in childhood and youth in the Open University, UK.

 

She is trained in narrative and systemic therapy (6 years). She has completed her training in EMDR trauma therapy. She has participated in seminars in psychodrama, art therapy and support in sickness and death. She is attending the three years training of Open Dialogue in Open Dialogue UK.

 

She is working in Anatolia College Thessaloniki as a psychology instructor and counsellor for high school students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

 

She has worked in the N.G.O. Praksis as volunteer coordinator for the programs of Praksis in Thessaloniki for two years. Her responsibilities involved training and supervision of the volunteers team in the organisation.

 

Christina Lagogianni was an active member in projects run by MIND in London regarding children and young people who hear voices or have other unusual experiences.

 

She was an intern in Soteria, Alaska (alternative programme in dealing with psychotic crisis), in the Centre of Mental Health of West Thessaloniki (systemic-family approach) and in the psychiatric department of the Hospital in Xanthi (North Greece).

 

She is a member in groups guiding and inspiring people with disabilities and ability potentials, and in the Observatory for Rights in the Field of Mental Health.
